The Bonheur is a small friendly private guest house in Great Yarmouth offering quality AA Four Star accommodation. We are open all year round and are situated in one of the nicest locations in Great Yarmouth, close to the beach and all attractions.

We serve a varied breakfast menu, which includes many of the old favorites such as a full English, but we also have dishes such as a vegetarian full English, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and a new children's menu. Please click here to view an example menu.

Our guest bedrooms offer a high standard of spacious and comfortable accommodation at affordable prices. Most of our rooms have partial sea views and they are all en suite. The bedrooms have television and refreshment facilities.

The Bonheur faces south onto the large and attractive Norfolk Square gardens which are exclusively for the use of residents and our guests are welcome to have a stroll, play a game or just relax on the extensive lawns.

For all our guests' comfort we have a strictly non-smoking policy throughout.

Whilst the Bonheur is quietly and delightfully situated, everything is close at hand. For example, the Britannia Pier, Hollywood Cinema, bowling Green, tennis courts, basketball court, Joyland children's funfair, Pirates Cove crazy golf, the market square and town centre, etc.

We were also recently graded by the AA and are happy to report that we have retained the 4 star AA rating. We also received a 5 star food and hygiene award, which is the highest award that can be received and indicates the commitment we at the Bonheur have towards making your stay relaxing and comfortable.

We are also in the process of setting up a brewery and real ale shop in Great Yarmouth. We hope that soon you will be able to enjoy a brewery tour at the Norfolk Square Brewery and also acquire some of the fine beers brewed in the 30 odd breweries found in East Anglia at our new N²B Real Ale Shop.
