The Bonheur is a former Victorian Merchant's house having been built around the 1870's. In keeping with this we decided that it would be fantastic to retain the feel of the Victorian era while obviously still offering the high standard of comfort for which the Bonheur is renowned. We felt that one of the aspects that we would like to improve on, is the furnishing throughout, and accordingly we have purchased and will continue to acquire a number of original Victorian pieces of furniture and light fittings that we hope will transform and grace the Bonheur with the richness and style of the Victorian era.

To continue the improvements to the Bonheur, we have re-carpeted and provided new linen for all the guest rooms, and have provided additional facilities such as hairdryers and luggage racks. New signs have been installed to the front of the building incorporating a new modern image, thus harmoniously combining the old and the new.

We have a good variety of rooms offering accommodation to satisfy most needs. All our rooms are en suite. Most of our rooms have partial sea views.

Double Rooms

We have a number of double rooms, all en suite and very comfortable. All the rooms have television and refreshment facilities. There is a double room available on the ground floor for easy access.

Twin Rooms

All the twin rooms are en suite with either shower or bath facilities. All the rooms are very comfortable and have television and refreshment facilities. There is a twin room available on the ground floor for easy access.

Family Rooms

There are three family rooms offering accommodation for families of 3 or 4 people. The rooms are en suite with either shower or bath facilities. All rooms have a TV, and refreshment facilities.

Single Rooms

There are no single rooms but we are more than happy to accommodate anyone seeking a single room. We will accommodate you in one of our spacious double rooms ensuring complete comfort.
